The presence of Jesus is the heartbeat of Ramp University, and community is the atmosphere where His presence is pursued together. Students are immersed in a lifestyle of worship, prayer, and discipleship, surrounded by a family of burning ones who are hungry for God. Daily rhythms include classes, prayer sets, small groups, activities, retreats, and moments of authentic connection that build lifelong friendships. Side by side, students grow in character, calling, and leadership, encouraging one another to run after Jesus wholeheartedly and carry His presence into every area of life.
Student Housing
As the developing ground for life-long friendships and as a safe haven for you to grow in your individual walk with God, Student Housing plays a vital role in every 1st Year student’s RampU experience.
Student Housing is located in the heart of downtown Hamiton. Students are within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and the Ramp.
Life in Hamilton
Nestled in the beautiful hills of Northwest Alabama, Hamilton provides an ideal setting for students to be discipled and trained in ministry. Hamilton provides the quaint experience of “small town” living while also being close in proximity to larger cities. In the heart of the south, hospitality and kindness are ways of life. Students experience this to be true not only within the Ramp community but also with the citizens of Hamilton as well. From exploring the beautiful terrain of nearby natural wonders to making a friend at one of the shops downtown, Hamilton is a great place to call home.
Doing Life Together
Life Groups
Students connect weekly with a small group of peers and Life Group Leader as a source of strength, connection, encouragement, and fun. You learn to be a trusted friend, faithful disciple, and peer-leader inside of Life Groups.
Events and Activities
Throughout the year, Student Life hosts fun, life-impacting events that infuse the RampU experience with joy and deeper connection. From the Student Life Retreat at the beginning of the year to sports tournaments, movie nights, block parties, and holiday celebrations, you not only grow as a leader while at RampU, you have a blast with friends along the way.
